Established in the year 2012, with the approval of the New Delhi Council of Architecture, Kalasalingam
School of Architecture is a five-year full-time Bachelor of Architecture degree programme (B.Arch.).
The school has cutting-edge technology, including smart classrooms, designed learning areas, studios, and
a library. Our Kalasalingam School of Architecture is led by renowned veterans of architectural
architecture education.
The team consists of seasoned academics with global and national experience. We offer promising up-to-
date information and visibility that the booming artistic industry needs. This course includes hands-on
experience, proven design studio practice, and standard classroom instruction.
The programme is structured to promote systematic learning across five major domains: Critical
Thinking, Design, Building, Representation, Social Engagement. In addition, a semester-long
International Experience is possible via our excellent study abroad programmes.

B.Arch programme in Kalasalingam is the flagship programme that enables candidates to explore the
realms of design and provides you with a framework of professional knowledge that applies to a range of
fields that can enhance the growth of the nation as well as benefit the individual in the longer run.
Kalasalingam designed its B.Arch Programme to gain necessary skills for Architects. The aim of the
programme is to inspire innovation in the architecture field and improvise on the existing for better
results. Research projects and thesis are the major part of the programme.

Three of our students from KSOA are qualified in the GATE2024 exams.
No, the course curriculum is designed in a manner that a student is introduced and trained in basics in first semester to eventually introduced to advanced and specialized techniques. However, some basic interest and talent is appreciated.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the Council of Architecture. The test is required for admissions to the first year of 5-year BArch degree course at all institutes/ schools/colleges of Architecture in India
NATA Registration form can be filled and submitted ONLINE from this website: http://www.nata.nic.in
Application has to be filled up ONLINE at the NATA portal .The exam dates, declaration of results will be shared in the NATA website after registration.
After the completion of the degree, each student can register in Council of Architecture (CoA) with the degree certificate. Unique COA registration numbers will be provided by the council to each student who has applied, which can be used as a registered license to practice Architecture.
Architects can work in the sectors of construction, urban planning, urban development corporations, public works departments, interior designing, etc.
The students are exposed to creative thinking through the experiments in the design studio. The students acquire to scrutinize the complications and to creatively progress unconventional solutions leading to a final design. Experiences dealing with the larger implications of community planning create a path in project management and urban development. A degree in architecture also provides a platform for students to conceptualize and deliver ideas and paves the way for work in graphic design as well as other creative services.
The ability to resolve the problems of design thinking is applicable to many fields, not just architecture. Individuals educated in architecture will be well prepared for many careers.
