The University Grants Commission (UGC) has framed regulations for curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions in order to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging. In this regard, The following faculty members and a student are nominated for the academic year 2024-25 to ensure a drug-free campus by imposing a total ban on the possession or consumption or use of drugs and alcohol by students of the University, within or outside the campus / hostels.

The Anti-Ragging Committee will meet periodically to discuss the issues to prevent ragging in the
University campus and implement the directions of the UGC from time to time in this regard.
